WASH DAY POST AT 7WEEKS: MOISTURIZING CONDITIONER MIXING

Hello beautiful people, how are we all doing and how is the hair journey, guess we have had some ups and downs shey? Just keep at the journey, every-every will normalize. Like I have been feeling my hair isn’t growing past APL but people keep telling me how long and healthy the hair is, so if I am not seeing progress people are which is a good thing and one important thing; consistency, keep doing the good work on the hair and results will come (show).
Back to my wash day experience: This wash day was a lengthy one and I enjoyed it and it went thus:
Prepoo: I massaged my scalp with warm coconut oil for like 2minutes, and also applied the oil to the body and ends of the hair, wrapped with cling film and stayed under my heat cap for 15minutes.
Deep condition: As you all know that I like mixing, I mixed aloe Vera with avocado, honey and mayonnaise, applied this to my hear and wrapped with cling film again and went under my heat cap for another 30-45 minutes, didn’t wash off immediately because I was cooking so I had the stuff in my hair   for like 2hours
Shampoo: I washed with Tresemme moisture rich shampoo, lathered once.
Tea rinse: I steeped 2bags of black tea and 2bags of green tea for my tea rinse, the bags were that much because I want shedding to be a thing of the past in this my hair journey so I will do all I can do.
Conditioner: I conditioned with Tresemme moisture rich luxurious conditioner and suave voluminizing conditioner.
Towel dried for like 70% and air dried the other part
Leave-ins: I used my old faithful profectiv growth renew root recovery deep conditioner on my scalp, then applied my mixed moisturizing conditioner too the length of my hair. And this will take me to my mixing experimented.

I mixed 4 different moisturizing conditioners all together, this is because of the following:
  1.   I didn’t want to be applying all four different conditioners to my hair at different times that was more work and more time too.
  2.   I want to really get moisture into my hair and moisturizing right because I notice that the day after my wash day which is when I apply my mixed butter hair cream and oil to my hair, it feels very coarse on the hand, not smooth and feels STRONG too.
So here are the 4 products I mixed in my spray bottle:
Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine intensely smooth leave-in conditioning cream: This conditioning treatment contains argan oil from morocco and Apricot oil for intense nourishment. It helps control dry, frizzy hair. It is very moisturizing and conditioning, anytime I use it, it makes my hair very soft and easy to manage and the moisture tends to stay a little longer. Another plus is its recycle-able bottle, u can actually put water in it and rinse out the last of the conditioner out of the bottle (Sorry my ijebu mind at work, apologies to all Ijebu people o). When the bottle is empty I will transfer some portion of my elasta QP into it.
Cantu argan oil Leave-in Conditioning Cream: Shea butter infused deep penetrating leave-in conditioning treatment helps stop and mend breakage, hydrates, repairs spilt ends and adds manageability and shine to the hair. This product provides intense moisture, leaves my hair soft and help mends split ends. It is formulated for damaged, dry, and coarse hair. Protects from heat damage. I can go on and on relieving the wonders of Cantu because I love and my hair loves the product.
Next is Elasta QP olive oil and mango butter anti-breakage leave-in Conditioner: This stuff smells great. Really great. If you have hair that can take a heavy product this product is for you, Moisturizes well and makes hair more manageable. A little goes a long way though, so don't overdo it. Moisturizing butter of mango and olive oil creates intensely rich thermal protecting treatment, daily usage gives softer and fuller hair, and also strengthens and protects hair against breakage, split-ends and dryness.
And the last is Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep treatment Masque: this rich treatment deeply moisturizes and repairs hair while providing a protective barrier for the hair from heat and styling aids. It has some good ingredients in it and I wanted it to work for me by all means because I have used it to deep condition though the result was good but with all the hype about this product it should do more so I have decided to use it as a leave-in which I think is fine by me.

To how I came about my mixture, I mixed a little portion of each conditioner in my spray bottle with Shea moisture being the least plenty, added water and coconut oil, then I shake-it, shake-it, shake-it nonstop till I felt the mixture was okay, I used it on my hair after washing, it was less work in less time as I had all my leave-ins applied to my hair.
I use it in the morning while styling my hair for the day, it’s just makes the whole work less hassle for me.
Anyone else has experimented recently, please share and feel free to make your comments.
Thanks for stopping by,

Tytylurpe.
